Cheer or comment on a post
If you were at a Moment, or have confirmed you are coming, you can cheer and comment on what the club posts about it, under your first name.
What you need
- A Moment whose organisers have opened comments and cheers. Until they do, the page shows the posts and no controls.
- To be signed in as someone who was there or is coming. Anyone can read; only the room can react.
How
- Under a post, press “Cheer”. Your first name joins the line: “Priya, Tom and 12 others cheered this.” The same button then reads “Take my cheer back”.
- To comment, write a few plain words and post them. Bold and italic work; a link does not. Your first name shows with it.
- To take a comment back, press “Take it back” under your own. It leaves the page and stays in the club’s record.
What happens then
- Comments are flat and newest last, the latest ten shown with “Show earlier”. Nobody is told when you comment.
- The club can hide a comment. It leaves the page and stays as a record.
What Rally Round never does here
- Show a number of cheers or comments anywhere, sort anything by them, or let a stranger react.
- Let a cheer or a comment be anonymous.
