Join a table from a captain’s link
Someone hosting a table sent you a link. Opening it and saying yes seats you with them.
What you need
- The table link, from the person hosting it.
How
- Open the link. You see the captain’s first name, the name of the table if they chose to show it, how many seats are taken, and the first names of guests who chose to be shown.
- Press “I’d love to come”, give your first name and your email, and confirm the email.
- The confirmation tells you whose table you are at. You are seated.
- When you say yes, tick “Show my first name to the others at this table” if you are happy for them to see it. It is off until you do, and the table page has “Show my first name” and “Hide my name” to change it later.
What happens then
- The captain sees your first name. The committee sees you, with the table number, in their console.
- A link that opens no table is a dead link: the captain replaced it, or the Moment is no longer taking names. Ask them for the current one.
