Open comments and cheers
Reactions on a Moment are closed until an organiser opens them, because the network does not yet know who is a child.
How
- On the Moment’s console, under “Comments and cheers”, read the attestation: that the people who were there are adults, or that an adult on the committee reads every comment within the day.
- Tick it and press “Open comments and cheers”. The attestation is recorded with the day and your name against it.
- New comments show on the console as they arrive. Press hide on one that should not be on the page, and show again if you change your mind. Both stay as records.
- Press “Close comments and cheers” from the same place to close them again. What was said stays on the page.
What happens then
- Only people with a confirmed place at the Moment, people who attended it, and the committee can react. Everyone else reads.
- A cheer is one per person per post, shown as first names. A comment is plain words under a first name, flat, bounded, newest last.
What Rally Round never does here
- Notify anyone of a cheer or a comment, count either, or let a stranger react.
