Create, preview and publish a Moment

The facts go in as a draft only your committee can see. When they are all real, one press makes the page public.

What you need

The name, the day, the venue and its town, and one sentence on why. Capacity and a seat price if there are seats.

From your console, press “Create a Moment” and fill in the facts. Some are optional until you publish; the console tells you which are missing.
It is saved as a draft. Press “Preview the page” to see it exactly as guests will, on the moments host. Anyone not on your committee gets nothing.
Press “Edit the facts” until it reads right. The page’s address is set from the name the first time and never changes, so the link you send is the link that works.
Press “Publish” and confirm it on the sheet. The page is public, the save the date is its first post, and the console shows the link to copy and the calendar file to send.
Afterwards, press “Mark as happened”; if it is called off, “Cancel this Moment”. Each is behind its own sheet.

A Moment moves from Draft to Save the date, then to Happened. Nothing goes back to a draft and nothing leaves an end. “Bookings open” is a status the page can show, and nothing in the console sets it yet: it arrives with seats.
Cancelling marks the page so and takes no more names. Telling the people who saved the date is yours to do, from the same console.
The facts stay editable while the Moment is ahead. A change shows on the page and in every post about it at once, because posts read the Moment rather than copy it.

Publish a page with a guessed fact. A draft with no venue or no sentence stays a draft, and the console says what is missing.
Show a guest’s name on the page, or a count of places left.
