What we keep about you, and why

A first name, an email, and a record of what you agreed to and when. That is the list.

How

When you say you would love to come, we keep your first name and your email, and the fact that you said it about that Moment.
When you tick the box to hear from the club, we keep that as a consent: which club, which version of the words, and the day. Untick it later and that is a record too. Nothing is edited over.
The terms and the privacy statement are kept in every version they have had, each at its own address, so you can read exactly what you agreed to on the day you agreed.
A club that imports last year’s list attests, on a dated form, that the people on it came and were told they would hear about the next one. Only rows marked as having come, with an address, are recorded as consenting.

Your first name shows to the club’s committee in their console, and on a table you joined to the captain. It shows to other guests only if you tick that it may.
A reaction you never confirmed is deleted after thirty days, with the record it started.
An email that bounces is not tried again. A complaint stops the club’s emails to that address and takes back the consent.

Put a name in an email subject or a log line.
Show a guest’s name on a public page, or a child’s surname, school or suburb anywhere a non-member can see.
Sell, share or lend your address to anyone. A club emails its own list through Rally Round; it never downloads it.
